Annual Park Tournament
The next annual Tournament that is held for all Huddersfield Netball Clubs will take place on Sunday 21st June 2015.
Entry details will be sent out to all Clubs nearer the time.

Replicating the success from this year, the Huddersfield League is planning another evening soiree for all Clubs to celebrate the seasons’ successes.
The planned date for the 2015 event is Friday 3rd July. Further details will follow. If anyone would like to help the Committee organise this event please contact the Secretary. |

England Netball Domestic Rules Guidance - October 2014

The Rules of the Game played in England are set by the International Netball Federation (INF).
England Netball (EN) has produced this Guidance to supplement the INF Rules of Netball with some practical application of the Rules, which takes account of legal duties not to discriminate, the duty of care and our objective to establish a safe, fair and inspiring sporting environment that contributes to a high quality participant experience at all times.

La Manga Netball Sevens Netball Tour 2015
How do you fancy going on a netball tour with a difference?
Thundersports are delighted to announce a new Tour in conjunction with La Manga Sports Tours!!
Friday 5th & Saturday 6th June 2015
The La Manga Netball Sevens tournament not only offers you the chance to play netball at the world famous 5* La Manga Club but also has the added bonus of giving you a Superleague player to coach or even play in your team!
We're delighted to announce that the La Manga Netball Sevens tournament will be in partnership with Surrey Storm Netball for the forthcoming 2015 tournament and beyond. The Storm squad will be coming out to La Manga to play in and coach your sides plus they'll be dining and socialising with the teams. The girls are really looking forward to it with Tamsin Greenway 'Massively looking forward to La Manga' and Hannah Reid adding 'Sun, netball and a 5* resort; why haven't you signed up already?!'
The competition will run over 1.5 days and teams can look forward to up to 4 nights accommodation, luxury airport to resort transfer, a 500 euro top prize, a free netball kit and a gala awards dinner to round the weekend off. There is also plenty of time to relax on the resort by making use of the spa, pools or maybe even a game of tennis! If you didn't already know, SURREY STORM are one of England's premier netball sides competing in the ZEO Superleague from their home in Guildford, Surrey. They boast stars such as Tamsin Greenway, Hannah Reid and Rachel Dunn and are looking forward to the coming 2015 campaign especially after the playoff heartache in 2014.
La Manga Club is a 1400 acre sports and leisure resort in Murcia, Spain. It boasts 8 football pitches, 2 netball courts, 3 championship golf courses, 28 tennis courts, over 35 bars and restaurants and even its own spa with indoor pool, sauna and treatment rooms. You also get to enjoy an average of 330 days of sunshine a year and all just 2 hours away from the UK.
The facilities are regularly used by professional sports sides with Borussia Dortmund, the Norwegian Football Federation, Castleford Tigers and Essex County Cricket Club all recent guests. In addition, many famous stars own properties on the resort so you may well bump into a few well known faces!

Your Committee Needs You!
Would you like to give something back and join the Committee that runs the Huddersfield Netball League?
The Committee is looking for willing new volunteers to join this very welcoming group of people. The AGM takes place on Tuesday 16th September where new Committee Members can be proposed and voted on. Come along with your team representatives and throw your name in the hat if you feel you can contribute and run this popular league.
Don’t forget, without a Committee the league can’t function, so get involved.

Your support is vital, enabling us to provide not only the basics but all those extras which make Kirkwood Hospice care so special. Behind each referral is an individual story and we aim to tailor our care to best meet the needs of each patient. We are deeply aware that we can only provide this because of donations such as yours.
In 2014, it will cost Kirkwood in excess of £15,000 every day to provide its services. With over 82% of this amount coming from our generous supporters – people just like you - your support is vital in helping us to provide a future of care for people throughout Kirklees.
