Summer Season 2026
It is that time again, when we start planning for the next summer season, to commence in January 2026. This year brings some exciting changes, as we take great strides forward and move to a central venue. From January, all fixtures for the Huddersfield Netball League will move to Huddersfield Leisure Centre, Grove Street, HD1 4BP. Fixtures for the summer season will run from January through to June, taking place on mid-week evenings. If you wish to register a team, please complete the online registration form. The deadline for entries is the 21st of November so that we can get the fixtures out to you with plenty of time to prepare. Our shorter winter season has started again, with 34 teams playing weekly competitive matches from September through to the end of November. All fixtures can be viewed on the Winter League Tables, with scores being posted as matches happen. Secretaries, please remember to submit completed team sheets via the relevant WhatsApp group within seven days of the match. We also need the result sent to the relevant WhatsApp group or online through the website so that results can be collated and posted to the website league tables. If you have sent the wrong information via text then please email the League Secretary on [email protected] who will arrange to get the website updated. Thank you to everyone who turned out to play, umpire, organise and support our popular annual charity tournament in Greenhead Park on Sunday 6th July. Despite the rain we had a great day, with lots of exciting netball and the welcome chance to meet and socialise with our wonderful netball community in Huddersfield. 18 teams took part and after a morning and afternoon session we had two sections running – the Plate and the Trophy. We congratulate all our winners and runners up, and everyone else in between! Thank you also to our dedicated umpires and volunteers, who without, we wouldn’t be able to run this longstanding competition. The Plate Semi-Final was made up of Fountain, Portland Blaze, Pennine Weavers and Hepworth B. Fountain and Pennine Weavers won both their games and progressed to the final. The Plate Final was a closely fought game, with Pennine Weavers ultimately the winner, beating Fountain by one goal. The Trophy Semi Final was made up of Hepworth A, Hi Tech A, Hi Tech B and Portland Flames. Both Hi Tech teams won their games and progressed to the final. Another hard-fought final game ensued, with eventually Hi-Tech A being crowned winners of the Trophy Final. Final scores are below: Plate Semi Finals

Presentation Night Tickets are also on sale now for our annual presentation night event, to celebrate all the successes from this last year.
