Being able to keep in touch with all our members is extremely important to us. One of the key ways we can do this is through the ENgage membership system, which you used to register your membership this season. Unfortunately, on checking, many of you did not ‘tick’ your communication preferences when completing your membership registration. This may have been an oversight, given that your key focus was in ensuring you became a member. I am aware some of you found this a very difficult process!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, can I now ask you to ‘login’ to your ENgage page at: https://engage.englandnetball.co.uk/Account/Login
- Enter your Membership number & your password. Don’t forget to tick the ‘I accept box’!
- This will then take you to your Personal Details. Check that you have an email address and,
- if not, ‘edit’ to include it. This may be a parent if you are a junior member.
- Open the ‘Communications’ tab This is on the dropdown list on the left of the page
- Your Club(s)
- Yorkshire West (your County)
- Yorkshire (your Region)
- England Netball (your National Governing Body)
Each organisation has a choice of a minimum 3 tick boxes. You need to tick all your preferred preferences for each one, but as an absolute minimum can I request that you ‘tick’ the top one, as this will enable us to communicate any relevant netball specific messages directly to your email. Rest assured, it is not our intention to bombard you with lots of unwanted emails!
Your support in doing this will be much appreciated and will greatly help with our communications directly to you. Thank you! Likewise, if you have any questions or need support of any kind, we are here to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly via our West Yorkshire Netball website contact page: https://www.westyorkshirenetball.co.uk/contact-wycna.html
You can also find out lots of news, advise and support by visiting the England Netball website, including it’s COVID-19 page at: https://www.englandnetball.co.uk/about/covid-19-support/
You may even like to consider joining the new EN ‘Virtual Netball Club’ and the activities on offer. You can also find other netball activities available online being offered by lots of other organisations. There is something for everyone, whether a player, coach, umpire, etc that will give you your ‘netball fix’. Unfortunately for now, just not on court1
In the meantime, if you have any interesting or inspirational news stories about what you, your club or others are doing during ‘lockdown’ then please let us know. We’d love to hear from you. Please use the West Yorkshire contact page, as detailed above.
Most importantly
STAY SAFE & WELL; STAY ACTIVE
STAY CONNECTED;
and most importantly, make sure you
STAY IN TOUCH & LOOK AFTER ALL YOUR FRIENDS IN THE NETBALL FAMILY
We will get through this and at some point be back participating in the sport we love.
